Just Some Stuff

September 10th, 2007

This is my blog and I’ll write when I want to, write if I want to, write if I want to …

You would blog to if something happened to you !!!!

There are so many things to blog about. BlogTV is a cool new site that we are doing shows on like the Coffee and Beer show and several others. Good times. I can’t wait to see how many people get on the show next time. We almost held the record for the most viewers of all time. We do hold the record for the most complaints on one show. And the record for being booted the most times during one show.

Ahhhh … aint life grand? Well check out the site and check out the MySpace for Coffee and Beer. Should be a good time.

Glass Blowing Blog

August 24th, 2007

There is a new glass blowing blog set up at Whirled Glass.com. They review other glass blowing sites and suppliers and they are giving the public readers the ease of voting for their favorite site. You can also add your glass blowing related sites to their directory.

The blog is set up to talk about all the glass blowing companies on the internet. They have quite a few reviews for sites on there already but they are always willing to do more. You can get them to review your site and company with a simple request via email. The posts are set up so that you can vote for the sites or companies that are reviewed. This is a cool way to find out who is the best of the best. This also will earn the reviewee a chance to win a free featured link in the Directory.

The Whirled Glass Directory is set up and categorized by State and there are a few miscellaneous categories for people that are only selling products or information online and don’t have a brick and mortar operation. You can submit your URL for free with a reciprocal link on your site or you can choose the $5 option .. that will help those guys out a little with hosting and whatnot.

Check them out and submit your site while all these great services are free.

Beaumont

August 4th, 2007

We have been looking at property in Texas, Beaumont in particular and there is this AWESOME property .. not for what we are looking for, but awesome none the less. It looks like it used to be a church or something. There is this HUGE room with church style benches and a little stage.

Come to think about it .. maybe that would be great for us to have shows at. We could host our own shows for local bands and charge at the door. No drinks caues a liquor license is TOO expensive.

I think maybe we keep looking though and see if there is anything with a little more land to it.

Banks and Their Charges

July 26th, 2007

I can’t wait to find a bank that is not going to charge me every time I sneeze. I never go over the limit on my account yet for some reason I always have some off the wall charge on my account for something that defiantly was not in the fine print when I signed up for the account.

Today I got a charge for a returned mail. That sucker cost me $33. I have not moved and I have not changed my address in over two years. I have been getting my mail up until a couple months ago when there was a miss hap at the post office and they moved us with out telling us. Really!

The local post office took it upon themselves to change our address. When we contacted them to find out why we were not getting mail they said that they changed our address because they thought we had moved by now. I guess people only stay in a house that they are renting for one year then they move automatically. Retards. And we are still not getting our mail.

So I am on my way to the bank to put my foot in someones ass as soon as I get a free minute. One of these days some bank will come up with an account that doesn’t have ten thousand fees (hidden fees) attached to it.

Got Soap?

July 14th, 2007

Anyone who wants to wash their clothes and have them smell great should check out the local dry cleaner. We took our clothes to a local dry cleaner and when we got them back they smelled so good.

I have always been one for great smelling laundry. I asked the clerk what they used to get the clothes smelling so good and she couldn’t speak very good English so I am trying to get someone who can translate for me next time I go down there.

I can’t wait to get more of the clothes cleaned there so the whole house can smell like that soap or whatever they are using.

Going Organic

July 5th, 2007

Becoming Green takes a lot of work. There are so many things that we can do to be more green in our lives that becoming green may seem a little overwhelming. You can start by purchasing organic foods or you can start by growing your own organic foods if you have a green thumb. Being Green usually means that you are growing your own foods though.

If you really want to make a go of it you can move to an area where there is the possibility of growing fruits and vegetables all year round. You can even make enough food to support yourself as well as have enough to be able to sell off the extra and make a little money. Some have made it their lives to grow and sell their foods as well as use what they grow to maintain their households.

One of the better websites we found that offers pretty good prices on the seeds and seedlings for growing your own food is also located very near where we grew up. As kids we did a lot of growing our own food. What a great experience that was. I once grew a pretty hefty pumpkin for Halloween that was used mainly to scare other kids but for pumpkin pie later on that time of year.

I’m getting pretty excited about the possibilities of being Green. Sometimes it takes some courage to become more one with the earth. Like Julia Hill, but I don’t think we will be sitting in any trees for over two years. We certainly will be checking out our options for a more self sustained lifestyle.

Colon Cleansing

June 19th, 2007

What do you think about all of these Colon Cleansing products that are out there starring you in the face? There are so many products out there who can decide on which one works and which ones do not?

We have been looking at the colon health for a while now trying to decide on the best method of cleaning out the years of McDonalds from our bodies. I have found that there are too many products to choose from and maybe we will just need to flip a coin.

If you are familiar with Colon Cleansing then you should have heard about the product “Colon Blow”! They have a humorous way of dealing with the excavation of your butt and they want the whole world to know that they are the best. They have been around for about eight years on the net now and the product is all natural just like everyone else. They take an aggressive yes funny approach to cleaning out your colon.

There is also Dual Action Cleanse Now that boasts the same results but a little different approach. Their method to a cleaner body is as seems to be that they want to cleanse the whole body all at once. A total body detoxification. That sounds like a sure fire method to get your body clean but don’t forget that colon cancer is only second to lung cancer. And we are looking to cleanse the colon first so this may be a secondary method of cleansing we will look at later on down the road.

Either way we want to get the pooper working and cleaned out first. I like the funny method that Colon Blow uses to get you to buy their product plus there is a free T Shirt involved and I just can’t pass that up.

Time for Redecorate

June 6th, 2007

Remember us talking about redoing the studio and putting it in the house in the extra room? Well that worked out very well. However … there is a cooling issue. The room that we have everything set up in is small and only has one vent that leads the cold air into the room. And it is a small vent probably made for a mouse to stay cool. So we are going to get our carpets cleaned and move the studio into the house area where we will have full access to the air conditioning.

This will give us a ton of room and we can probably have a couch in that area also when we are done which will be cool cause then we can have guests on our podcast shows and they can chill on the couch.

The only downfall to this is that we will have to keep it small and there will be no more TV in the studio. We have three computers that will be doing all of the studio work so there is really no need for a TV, but it is fun to turn around and knock out some Ratchet and Clank while we are taking a break.

Non the less we will be getting the carpets done and the floors will be spotless again soon. So we will be moving all this stuff around again for the millionth time. I can’t wait to see the floors all cleaned up and nice looking again. I remember when we moved in here the carpets where spotless .. then some areas started to come through again. Now it’s our turn to get them done and sparkling again.
